2016 Olympics which is also known as Rio 2016 is here, and this time in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil!

Let me tell you something about Rio 2016.

207 countries from all around the world are participating in Rio 2016

In 42 different Olympic sports with 306 events in 19 days.

There are 136 medals for women and 161 for men.

121 athletes from India, both men and women, are participating in 15 sports in 66 events.

The mascot for Olympic is Vinicius and for Paralympics – Tom .

Vinicius looks like a monkey-cat with wings and Tom is a mixture of plants that grow in Brazil.

Isn’t all this amazing! All these numbers make my mind go round and round!

Well, I’m looking forward to the events, aren’t you?

I wish that I would be able to participate in the Olympics! It would be exciting!But for now, I must stop chattering but start practicing.
