My name is Adhya,
I live in India.
I am small but I am tall,
For me writing poems is just a start,
But I have mastered this art.
I like dance like the spring,
I like to sing,
At the park i like to swing.
I me myself,
My name is Adhya.
Once upon a time there was a huge banyan tree
There lived many creatures on it.
Mr. monkey, Mr. owl, Mrs. Sparrow, queen grasshopper, ms. Squirrel & Mr. snake all lived united.
Mr. Monkey was expert in jumping from branch to branch.
Mr. Owl was very wise.
Mrs. Sparrow was very kind.
Queen Grasshopper could make all kinds of sounds.
Ms. Squirrel kept a large collection of acorns.
& Mr. Snake was a master in coiling himself around anything.
The wise owl’s advice
One fresh morning every body in the banyan tree were relaxing with the scent spread around, when they heard a loud thud. They turned their heads to see what had happened when they saw a fallen tree with two men beside it with a big saw, they heard them say “we will rest for a while and then we will cut that banyan tree. It looks strong and sturdy” The animals went to Mr. owl he was sleeping soundly & it took a while for them to wake him. When he woke up they narrated the whole story to him. Mr. owl listened patiently.
He thought of a plan and told it to others. So while the men were resting Mr. snake coiled around them and started to hiss Mr. monkey started shaking the branches of the trees so all the leaves fell on them. Mrs. sparrow pecked all over their body so their skin swelled up. Ms. Squirrel pelt acorns at them. Then queen grasshopper made her voice different & said “I am the goddess of the trees if you ever touch them beware.” The woodcutters made a run for it and never showed their face ever again. As for the banyan tree’s residents they protected their home & lived happily ever after.
Its a blessing to have national park very near to my home. It is like a neighbour to me. To start the new year , me & my family went to national park. I always fascinated by the lush green beauty of nature, we saw many plants of different kinds & we did exercises & told stories & poems to each other, I collected some treasures from the national park such as stones, flowers etc.
We enjoyed view of the rising Sun. After walking for a long while we stopped to sit we took deep breaths filled with bliss, we all were feeling very hungry because all of the walking & came home. Indeed a good start of the new year.
Wishing everyone A happy new year.

You know this week I turned into a mini event organiser 🙂 I made a designer party circular & went to all my friends house to collect rs 10 per child then went for shopping we bought chocolates & wafers. My friends & me decorated the tree together and took it to the ground, we saw children waiting for us when they saw the christmas tree they started singing jingle bell jingle bells… We started singing carols & danced around the tree then we played many games & played & played till everybody got hungry we all ate chocolates & wafers. We played some more games until we all were tired and went home happily. But my task was not over I went to the houses of the people who had not come to the party and delivered their snacks. I’m going to tell you a story about Alampha a man who was as thin as a bamboo reed that challenged a giant named Shrink with mystical powers that can shrink anything in the universe, even the universe itself! It started like this: the Shrink was so notorious that he began to shrink things. He shrank furniture, windows & clothes, so nobody could fit in them. Once he even shrank Mr. Pegwood who was a tall, old man into the size of a pigmy! But the people could do nothing but sit & watch & watch & watch the giant shrink things. One day the shrink threatened the people that he would shrink the world, if all the people on earth wouldn’t become his slaves. The people wondered & wondered, what could they do against this big fat giant? They didn’t wanted to become slaves, & they did not want the Shrink to shrink the world, instead of seven continents they would be left with three! But Alampha came forward & said I will make this evil Shrink run away from the universe forever. The people laughed & taunted him they jeered & teased him. They shouted how could a man thin as a reed fight a giant? But Alampha who was still filled with hope went to the giants cave; he found the Shrink sleeping. This was the right moment! Alampha took a bamboo stick of just his own size & as a cricketer strikes a ball with his bat, Alampha struck the bamboo stick on the giant’s head & the giant woke up he saw Alampha with a bamboo reed & roared “how did you dared to disturb my sleep, I’m going to slay you” the shrink said he seized Alampha but Alampha easily escaped ‘cause he was so thin. The giant became mad with fury he decided to crush Alampha under his feet so he lifted his foot to crush Alampha, he was too late Alampha had started tickling him! Somehow he managed to take Alampha off his body now the shrink became very angry with Alampha that he thought he could scratch Alampha & he would bleed & run away. But Alampha guessed the giant’s move & slipped away & in that order he scratched himself. Now the shrink was so embarrassed of himself that he shrank himself as small as an ant without giving it a second thought, & ran away never to be seen. & Alampha returned to his village after his triumphant victory. There he was welcomed with cheers not jeers. & Alampha is remembered for his slimness till this day…
The beauties of Earth
The beauties of our earth,
They are the flowers.
In every birth,
They blossom they bloom.
They come in so many shades,
Orange, purple, pink, blue
Or a Silver, golden hue.
I also like their dew,
& their smell too.
They are so nice,
They are a paradise.
